At Lash Luxe Chicago, your safety, comfort, and results are our top priorities. Please read the following policies carefully before booking an appointment. By booking and receiving services, you acknowledge and agree to all policies listed below.

Licensing & Professional Standards
Lash Luxe Chicago is owned and operated by a licensed esthetician in the State of Illinois.
All services are performed by fully licensed and certified lash artists trained in accordance with Illinois state regulations and industry best practices.
We use professional-grade products and follow strict sanitation and hygiene protocols at all times.

Booking Policy
A valid credit card is required to book all appointments.
For your safety and security, credit card information is never taken over the phone or via text.
Appointments can only be booked online through styleseat.com/lashluxechicago.
Once booked, you are responsible for reviewing your confirmation email for appointment details.
If you pre-book your next appointment in-suite, a confirmation link will be sent via text. Your appointment is not confirmed until the link is clicked.

Late Policy
Please arrive on time. All services are carefully scheduled to provide optimal results.
Appointments more than 10 minutes late will be required to reschedule and will be considered a no-show, resulting in a 100% charge of the service.
If you expect to be late, please text us. Accommodation is not guaranteed.

Cancellations & Rescheduling Policy
Appointment reminders are sent via email and text 72 hours, 24 hours, and 1 hour prior.
All cancellations and rescheduling must be completed online through your StyleSeat profile.
You will receive confirmation once your cancellation is processed.
If you do not receive confirmation, your appointment has not been canceled.
Appointments must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance.
No-shows and late cancellations are charged 100% of the service cost. Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Payments
Accepted forms of payment: StyleSeat, Zelle, Venmo, or cash.
Clients paying cash may receive $20 off any full set of eyelash extensions or keratin lash lift.
When paying in cash, all booking and credit card processing fees are waived at checkout.

Lash Touch-Up / Fill Policy
A minimum of 30% of extensions must remain to qualify for a fill.
If less than 30% remains, a full set or extended fill is required.
Foreign fills are evaluated case-by-case and may require removal.
Pricing is based on time and complexity required to complete the service safely.

Eligibility & Eye Health Policy
Clients are responsible for disclosing all relevant medical history, allergies, sensitivities, medications, and eye-related conditions prior to booking and service.
Services cannot be performed on clients with:
Pink eye, styes, eye infections, or contagious eye conditions
Herpes, cold sores, open sores, warts, bleeding, or broken skin near the eye area
Transmissible or contagious diseases
Known allergies or sensitivities to lash adhesives, solutions, or tint products
Recent eye surgery (including LASIK) within the last 6 months without physician clearance
Failure to disclose relevant information releases Lash Luxe Chicago from liability.

Contact Lenses
Contact lenses must be removed prior to all lash extension, lash lift, and tint services.
Lash services require prolonged eye closure and the use of professional adhesives and solutions near the eyes.
Clients who arrive wearing contact lenses must remove them before the service begins.
Services will not proceed if contact lenses remain in place.
Lash Luxe Chicago is not responsible for complications resulting from failure or refusal to remove contact lenses.
Wearing glasses to your appointment is strongly recommended.

Appointment Preparation (Required)
Arrive with clean, makeup-free eyes.
Waterproof mascara must not be worn for at least 72 hours (3 days) prior to your appointment.
Avoid sunscreens, moisturizers, eye creams, serums, oils, and heavy foundation around the eye area.
Avoid caffeine prior to your appointment to reduce eyelid twitching.
Showering before your appointment is recommended, as lashes must remain dry for 24–48 hours post-service.
Failure to follow preparation guidelines may result in shortened service time, compromised results, or rescheduling. Rescheduled appointments are subject to cancellation policies.

Photo & Service Documentation Consent
Lash Luxe Chicago may take before, during, and/or after photos of the eye area for documentation, quality control, training, and legal record-keeping purposes.
Photos assist in documenting natural lash condition, service results, and pre-existing conditions.
Images are stored securely and are not publicly shared without client consent.
By booking and receiving services, you consent to photography for documentation purposes.
Refusal of photo documentation may result in service being declined.

Allergic Reactions, Delayed Symptoms & Medical Care Disclaimer
While uncommon, allergic reactions or sensitivities may occur.
Reactions may be immediate or delayed hours or days after service.
Delayed reactions may be influenced by factors beyond our control, including hormones, medications, skincare products, environmental irritants, improper aftercare, or rubbing the eye area.
Lash Luxe Chicago cannot determine the cause of delayed reactions and is not responsible for reactions resulting from factors unrelated to the service.
Patch tests are available upon request and must be scheduled at least 48 hours prior to service.
Lash Luxe Chicago does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Clients experiencing pain, swelling, vision changes, or concerning symptoms are advised to seek evaluation from a licensed medical professional.
Lash Luxe Chicago is not responsible for the outcome of medical treatment sought following cosmetic services.
No refunds will be issued for allergic reactions.

Results, Refunds & Scope of Practice
Cosmetic results vary based on individual anatomy, natural lash health, lifestyle, and aftercare compliance.
Lash Luxe Chicago does not guarantee specific results, retention, or longevity.
All services are cosmetic only.
No refunds are issued for completed services.
Lash Luxe Chicago does not diagnose, treat, or provide medical advice.
All lash artists at Lash Luxe Chicago are fully licensed estheticians and certified lash artists in the State of Illinois.

Aftercare Responsibility
Proper aftercare is required to maintain lash health and longevity.
Lash Luxe Chicago is not responsible for damage caused by improper aftercare, including rubbing, picking, oil-based products, or failure to follow instructions.

In-Studio Policies
Cell phones must be silenced during appointments.
Clients must keep eyes closed until the service is fully complete.
Excessive movement, opening eyes, or checking devices may compromise safety and results.
Lash Luxe Chicago is not responsible for irritation caused by failure to follow instructions.
No additional guests or children are permitted in the treatment suite.

Age Policy
Clients must be 15 years or older.
Clients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
The guardian must remain present during the consultation and service.

Fix Policy
Complimentary fixes must be requested within 3 days of the original appointment.
Approved fixes will be scheduled for a 30-minute session within one week.
Missed or canceled fix appointments forfeit eligibility.
All services are final sale. No refunds are provided.

Right to Refuse Service
Lash Luxe Chicago reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service for safety, sanitation, non-disclosure of medical information, lateness, or inappropriate behavior.

Liability Waiver
By booking and receiving services at Lash Luxe Chicago, you acknowledge that:
Lash services involve inherent risks, including irritation or allergic reactions.
You voluntarily assume all risks associated with these services.
You release Lash Luxe Chicago, its owner, and its artists from liability to the fullest extent permitted by Illinois law.
